The Teen and Adult Phonics (TAP) Library offers a collection of sequential, decodable digital novels with engaging themes tailored to appeal to teenagers and adults. The focus is on providing a positive reading experience for older emergent readers, particularly those with Specific Learning Differences (SpLD) such as dyslexia, ASD, or ADHD.

The School Edition provides full access to every story in the collection permanently, without any in-app purchases required. All future updates with additional texts will also be included in this version. For those interested in exploring the collection before purchasing, the regular edition of the TAP Library app is available for free download, offering samples of each story with a one-time in-app purchase per story.

<li>BUILD CONFIDENCE with FULLY DECODABLE TEXTS: TAP novels are designed to support older learners, especially those with learning difficulties like dyslexia, in mastering phonics systematically. By minimizing the use of non-decodable words, readers can experience reading success and develop into confident emergent readers.</li>
<li>PRESERVE DIGNITY: The apps are crafted to cater to individuals with severe reading challenges who prefer age-appropriate material over traditional "levelled readers" or children's books. With high-quality visuals and a clean layout, these apps offer a novel-reading experience that promotes pride and progress without overtly labeling support features on the cover or within the text.</li>
<li>SUPPORT DYSLEXIC LEARNERS: Every aspect of the app is designed with the needs of dyslexic learners, as well as those with ASD or ADHD, in mind. Features such as font options for dyslexia, minimal distractions on text pages, color-coded chapters, flexible navigation controls, optional multimedia elements, white noise for concentration, user profile settings for preferences and progress tracking are tailored to enhance the reading experience of older learners.</li>
<li>SYSTEMATIC AND CUMULATIVE PHONICS: The TAP Library currently offers four novels at TAP Level 2. These texts feature fully decodable words within specific phonics categories to aid learners in phonics progression. Users can select their preferred English language variant and access further details on the TAP phonics approach on the FocusOnTAP.com website.</li>
<li>DESIGNED BY A READING AND DYSLEXIA SPECIALIST: Victoria Leslie, a renowned reading and dyslexia specialist based in Australia, has meticulously designed the TAP series. These high-interest novels are intended for use by dyslexia/literacy educators, schools, parents, as well as individuals keen on improving their literacy skills.</li>
